Howard joined Seaport in 1999. He served as Chief Financial Officer for over 23 years, during which he led the firm’s accounting, finance, and administrative functions.
Prior to joining Seaport, Howard was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lynch & Mayer, Inc., a registered investment advisor that had more than $6.5 billion in assets under management. In that capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the firm’s financial, legal and administrative affairs, as well as compliance with requirements of various regulatory agencies. Before working for Lynch & Mayer, Howard served as Financial Vice President of the Carteret Financial Group and several predecessor companies, participating in the structuring of the firm’s leveraged equipment leasing arrangements. Prior to joining Carteret Financial, he was employed as an auditor with Price Waterhouse.
Howard, a Certified Public Accountant, received a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
