ATLANTA, GA - (October 8, 2010) - Municipal Communications, LLC announced today it has completed a $10.75 million capital raise led by Seaport Capital, a private equity firm focused on growth and buyout opportunities in the communications, information and business services, and media sectors. Municipal Communications represents the first transaction made by Seaport Capital's fourth fund, Seaport Capital Partners IV, L.P. The company co-founders also participated in the investment.

Peak 10 Inc., a managed services company with world-class data centers, and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe ("Welsh Carson"), a leading private equity firm, have entered into a transaction in which Welsh Carson and Peak 10's executive management will acquire a majority shareholder interest in Peak 10. Selling shareholders include majority owner Seaport Capital, a New York-based private equity firm and McCarthy Capital, an Omaha, Neb.-based private equity fund.
